Connecting environmental vigilance with community action and everyday stewardship.
Founded in Walworth County and focused statewide, EVA | Environmental Vigilance Alliance is an independent Wisconsin public-interest initiative that helps communities understand and respond to environmental decisions while encouraging stewardship, restoration, and regenerative action close to home.
Wisconsin deserves a pause before permanent decisions are made.
We are asking for a statewide moratorium on all data center and energy infrastructure projects until a cumulative impact analysis is completed and comprehensive guidelines are in place.
Watch . Respond . Restore
WATCH:
EVA watches proposed infrastructure, development, water, land use, and environmental decisions that affect local Wisconsin communities, ecosystems, and future generations.
RESPOND:
We help residents understand public processes, prepare comments, attend hearings, contact decision-makers, and participate before decisions are finalized.
RESTORE:
Our team encourages practical stewardship, habitat-building, regenerative agriculture, remediation, and ecological care that can begin in our own backyards and extend into farms and communities.
EVA is tracking the proposed Foundry Ridge Energy Center in Darien, Wisconsin, including public records, environmental concerns, hearing updates, comment deadlines, and potential impacts on nearby families, schools, farmland, water, wildlife, and rural community life.

Stay Informed. Participate with Purpose.
Environmental decisions don't happen all at once. New projects, public hearings, comment opportunities, and legislative actions can arise quickly.
Join EVA | Environmental Vigilance Alliance to receive important updates about proposed developments, public participation opportunities, and ways to help protect Wisconsin's communities and natural resources.
Why EVA Exists…
Environmental harm rarely happens all at once. It often happens through a series of decisions — a project approved here, a wetland disturbed there, another demand placed on water, another stretch of farmland converted, another habitat fragmented, another community asked to absorb the consequences.
EVA exists to help make those decisions more visible - and to ask what the cumulative impacts will be.
We watch the public processes, infrastructure proposals, and environmental concerns that shape the future of Wisconsin’s land, water, wildlife, health, and rural communities. We help residents understand how to respond through public comments, hearings, and civic participation. And we support the everyday work of restoration — from backyard habitat and soil care to regenerative agriculture, remediation, and the repair of damaged places.
Protecting the future requires more than awareness - it requires vigilance, participation, and stewardship.
